Fear of not getting Windows 11 update on old PC
Microsoft may offer Windows 11 on PCs with older processors, but that doesn't mean the new PCs will have the same features as those PCs. According to The Verge, quoting Microsoft, Windows 11 updates will not be available on PCs with 'unsupported' CPUs.
The software giant also said that if you use an older CPU, it may not have driver or security upgrades. In other words, you must use new hardware to keep your system secure.
However, Microsoft declined to comment in detail. Earlier, the company said that the old CPU will be given the opportunity to install the ISO version of Windows 11 to test the benefits of the new platform.
However, not updating for unsupported hardware can actually lead to legal complications for Microsoft.
